I am a Michigan based artist who grew up in Shelby Township, MI, and went to College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI (this is where I got my BFA in Illustration).

Over the years I have explored many different creative routes, both through traditional and digital media. I love the flexibility of being able to paint with acrylics, warp text in illustrator, or edit pictures in photoshop. I believe illustrating an image that matches the initial concept adds to the overall design.

I most recently made a change and moved to Kalamazoo after getting my degree in order to work for a small advertising agency. As my first real design job as not being an intern, I was able to learn so much and work with a lot of community based non-profits who all admired the work I provided for them.

On a more personal note, I tend to be a very bright and outgoing person. I am always changing my hair color and have pretty much had the entire rainbow at this point. I am absolutely obsessed with sloths (not sure why but I love them), as well as anything and everything Halloween!!!!!!! And always looking forward to the Renaissance Festival every year!

As far as my art goes, I tend to work more stylized, using shape language and bold colors, but love adding a fun texture to add something special to a piece, and being able to incorporate text is just an added bonus. I have done anything from posters to comics, t-shirt designs to packaging designs, and social media posts to email marketing. I believe this all helped to shape the artist I am today.
